The aim of the project “Psychosocial Support for Schools in Southern Ukraine” is to mitigate the immediate effects of the war on the mental health of teachers and students, while also providing long-term support for the development of schools and the restoration of the educational system in Ukraine.
The implementation of the project will help create a safe and stimulating environment for both students and teachers in 60 schools across the Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. Great emphasis will be placed on communication with parents and their active involvement in this process and psychological assistance and consultations for teachers.
In collaboration with the project’s partners, a wide range of activities will be carried out to support the integration of European know-how and standards into Ukraine’s educational system.
The project is implemented by the Association for International Affairs in cooperation with Ukrainian partners, with financial support from the Transition Promotion Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
